I bought my first 35mm camera in Japan in 1974, it was a Minolta SR 505. Though I was only taking pictures I realized the passion I had for shooting. I soon learned that there was a difference between pictures and photographs.
In 1980 I graduated from the Oklahoma School of Photography and started to focus on becoming a photographer. Though I had the passion and desire to work as a photographer it was not a career path I followed.
My work is a display of the world that is passed by every day. A magnificent sunrise or sunset, flowers in bloom, the rawness of nature in all its splendor. Capturing landscape colors that only happen once in a lifetime. Wildlife in their natural environment. Abstract things that are beautiful in the space that they occupy. It is my goal, through my photographs, to give you the vision of our world.
All my work is done by me, I shoot, edit, print, mount on acrylic and build frames. All the frames I make are from reclaimed lumber. There are no two frames a like. Every Photograph and frame are a one of one. The media I use is top of the line Epson Exhibition canvas and Premium photo paper. Designed to provide brilliant and lasting color.
It is truly an honor that you would consider hanging my work in your home or place of business.
